The Feels is an [extra] short film exploring Maker/Designer Jessica Murray’s experiences with mental health. Selected by the Nevada Women’s Film Festival and screened at Soho House in LA, The Feels channels Jessica’s creative process to peel back the many layers of anxiety and depression she lives with on a daily basis.

Who is J.J. Anderson? As the co-founder of award-winning video production company HRDWRKER, JJ has helmed projects such as Positive Space - a series highlighting Black women museum curators in LA. This project was described as “groundbreaking” by Shonda Rhimes’s digital platform SHONDALAND, on which it now streams. Her 2018 documentary short JONAH was picked up by the Discover Indie Film series and is currently playing on Amazon Prime. Passionate about creating meaningful space for her peers, JJ has led event collaborations with the teams of The Standard Hotel, Lululemon and Nylon Español. She also enjoys teaching storytelling workshops, and has done so for Deloitte, the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture and the Storyteller’s Summit.
