President Macron Commits to Increasing France's Contribution to Global Vaccinations | Global Citizen

French President Emmanuel Macron announces his country’s pledge to increase the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses donated, from 60 million to 120 million, to help combat massive global vaccine inequity, and to further support UNICEF in helping administer vaccines too. He further commits France to redirecting 20% of its allocation from the International Monetary Fund to support countries across Africa in a green recovery; and to committed 333 million euros to support the Global Partnership for Education, for girls’ education.
