I left the house this morning thinking I’d have nothing to film. I even missed the Vice President’s motorcade, so I was kind of out of luck for content, but while heading down on the Mall I nearly got hit by a couple of government black Suburbans, the VIP car of choice, so I pulled over to see who would get out of it and all of sudden the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi showed up. While filming her I got distracted with my child-like fascination with helicopters, but eventually, we went back to see what she was up to. Then it was off to be a tourist for a bit, when we found out that Boris Johnson, the prime minister of the UK, was coming to visit, so we filmed his motorcade at the train station. Then I finally went to the museum, like I was planning to do early in the morning, to show you some of the Presidential history like the First Ladies dress collection and all the political memorabilia in the American History museum.
Show not Tell.
