Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is backing calls for the 2022 World Cup to be moved to winter. Fifa is considering the move amid concerns for player and fan safety in the unrelenting Qatari summer.
Wenger says fan enjoyment is paramount, and English football will find a way to rejig its schedule. He says his squad is primed for a tough clash away at West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, and has yet to talk with Jack Wilshere after the midfielder was photographed smoking a cigarette
