The rate of HIV infections in the country is rising and the National Aids Counsel Secretariat is cash strapped.
They haven’t been receiving any funding from the Government since 2013 for their development budget only receiving K2 million last year and this year nothing.
The Counsel is mandated to promote the preventative measures to stop the spread of the virus but are not doing much awareness because of the funding issue.
