In this highly speculative video, I discuss the legal ramifications of Tesla cars, and eventual Tesla robots (Teslabot) becoming smarter and more self-sufficient (or quasi-sentient). Basing this discussion on an article written for the Syracuse Science & Technology Law Reporter (citation below), I talk about the different kinds of legal liability a person might have, how a corporation is already treated as a "person" by law in most countries, and how a robot that uses advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) like neural networks could–perhaps very soon–be able to make decisions that are not entirely predictable, and could–perhaps soon-ish–understand the consequences of these actions.

Will we have to take our Tesla cars or Tesla bots to court? If they’re found guilty of a crime, how can we punish them? Let’s take a walk down speculation lane and consider these matters!
