This is what’s happening in northeast China, where people are buying used clothes to burn to keep warm. The local price of coal is about $266 US dollars a ton, or 26 cents a kilogram. Used clothes are 6 cents a kilogram.
The biggest concern now is how the Chinese people will survive the cold winter.
