Hi guys, I’m Eileen. In this video, I talked about the safety issues and inconvenience with having expensive designer items. Have you ever felt nervous about wearing certain designer logo or carrying a certain luxury handbag? Do you think it’s safe to wear Louis Vuitton monogram head to toe seeing they’re fairly high profile? I personally felt rather conscious when wearing a lot of expensive fine jewelry pieces. This probably explains why I’ve sold many jewelry pieces in the last few years (Van Cleef, Hermes, Cartier, Tiffany and Co). In fact, I felt really uncomfortable wearing the Hermes Kelly rose gold necklace in busy places. With social media, we’re now sharing so much with the world. Everyone is now showing their entire Chanel/Louis Vuitton/Hermes collection, designer shoes, and diamond pieces. Therefore in my opinion, it is sensible to consider the safety aspects of owning expensive items.
