Acceptance can be a challenging practice to integrate into our life. Living intentionally, you can recognize there is a difference between accepting what is and desiring what is happening in reality. When things in our life don’t go as expected, we create an additional conflict in our mind. We can mindfully experience less suffering when we let go of the conflict of reality.
Take a moment to pause and recognize that you don’t have to agree with what is happening, but you can agree with the fact that it is the reality. When you can accept reality, you can let go of the additional conflict.
